Not A Blade Of Grass
03:45
|
|||
[Chorus]
Look for positive, argue it must exist
For God is on my side, and in control of
And even though cannot connect my dots
Believe not a blade of grass moves
Without the sanction of God
[Verse 1]
Even ill health - body disease
Physical pain discomfort
Mental mind anxiety
I believe somehow serves me
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 2]
Even old age - battery run down
Hair greyed, beauty wrinkled
Eye sight - glasses required
I believe somehow serves me
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 3]
Even lost love - dream evaporate
Betrayal situation
Divorce, broken family
I believe somehow serves me
[Instrumental]
[Verse 4]
Even rebirth - wipe the slate clean
Past life - tabula rasa
Samsara - begin again
I believe somehow serves me
[Repeat Chorus]

Is What It Is
02:31
|
|||
[Spoken]
It is what it is. What it is I cannot say, yet because of where I believe it comes from, I do say it therefore must be perfect.
[Chorus]
It is what it is
Perfectly fit for ...
Purpose not what assumed
It is what it is
Perfectly fit for ...
Object not what concluded
[Verse 1]
For miscalculated
Without context
Immediate now
Only considered
Bigger picture unimagined
[Verse 2]
Assumption unchallenged
Comprehension
Believable given
Disposition
Bigger picture unconceived of
[Chorus]
[Verse 3]
My mission confusion
Truth illusion
Final destination
Unawareness
Bigger picture long forgotten
[Instrumental]
[Verse 4]
Objective abandoned
Divine denied
Soul fallen conditioned
Identified
Bigger picture undeserved of
[Chorus x2]

Mystery
02:42
|
|||
[Verse 1]
Nothing less, nothing more
What you get is what you see
As it is, warts and all
Perfection imperfection
Out of tune, out of time
Imprecise self expression
Personal projection
Musical one and difference
[Chorus]
What it means?
Mystery but wonderful
And yes, that includes you
[Verse 2]
As you are, uncontrived
Beautiful individual
Nothing fake, imitate
Every ounce original
Only you, through and through
Nobody does you better
Genuine authentic
Natural disposition
[Chorus]
[Instrumental]
[Verse 3]
Everyone one of us
Family, even bad guys
Even them, even you
Even me, everybody
And animals, plants and trees
Every living entity
Donald Trump - even him
Beloved of God also
[Chorus]

Not A Leaf Falls
03:03
|
|||
[Verse 1]
You said misused independence
We were envious souls of God
So from spiritual world here banished
Until purify one's existence
[Verse 2]
Identified souls as fallen
Evidenced everyone must die
Compromise for being eternal
Argued proof that we don't belong here
[Chorus]
See divinity explored
Divine expressed
Question would you mislead us
Reason we take birth on Earth?
[Verse 3]
Some wonder did you white-lie us
Neophyte limit justified
Because truth beyond comprehension
To motivate cultivate faith?
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 4]
Distributed Back to Godhead
Said nobody once there returns
Contradiction for those dare admit
Explanation said unimportant
[Repeat Chorus]
[Spoken Word]
Is it possible that a deeper truth might be discouraging rather than inspiring and liberating for someone early in their journey of spiritual awakening? Perhaps better therefore to simply talk in terms that they can understand ... even if it means a white lie or two ... for example 'three into one won't go'.
[Instrumental]
[Repeat Verse 1]

Think Ourselves Advanced
03:26
|
|||
[Spoken]
I like to think of enlightenment ABC as the seeing of all living beings, species regardless, as brothers and sisters. In spite of our many advancements and our obsession with political correctness wonder if the human race is actually heading in that direction? What do you think?
[Verse 1]
Racism reject
People see equal
Yet animals exclude
Preach they have no soul
[Verse 2]
Sexism outlaw
Chauvinism scorn
But unborn child ignored
Right to life denied
[Chorus]
Think ourselves advanced
Of the human race
Pinnacle is today
Technological-smart
Polished animal proud
Proclaim this age of enlightenment
[Verse 3]
Secular embrace
Religious war defeat
Yet global family
Is ever out of reach
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 4]
Gender up to you
Pronoun choice respect
Still equal rights refuse
God approves reject
[Instrumental]
[Verse 5]
Classism despise
Ageism dismiss
Still body 'dentify I
Afterlife deny
[Repeat Chorus x3]

Hidden agenda who can say
[Verse 2]
I can't trust my BBC
Objective news is fantasy
I neither trust my search engines
They piggyback my preconceptions
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 3]
I can't trust America
The land of free hypocrisy ;)
I neither trust Russia-China
Conditioned deep my prejudice is :(
[Instrumental]
[Verse 4]
I can't trust my know-it-alls
My zonal guru GBC
I neither trust my own mind
My senses numb, my vision blind
[Verse 5]
I can't trust my scientists
Those thinly disguised atheists
I neither trust my believers
They self-deceive they see the light, now
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 6]
I can't trust my facts of life
That when I die nothing survives
I neither trust myself to know
The difference of fact from fiction

Ease My Pain
04:02
|
|||
[Verse 1]
People say I'm crazy
Finger point he must be mad
How can he believe this
After everything he's seen?
No such thing as victim?
Everything divine design?
What, even rape and murder?
Screw is loose - he's lost his mind
[Verse 2]
He say God is implicated
After all never obliged
Not a blade of grass moves
Without sanction - will divine
So-called law of karma
Don't explain why God looks on
Must assume by God's hand
As anytime can intervene
[Chorus]
It blows my mind
Divine design
What's going on
Someone please explain
Ease my pain
[Verse 3]
He believe God exists
He believe God in control
He believe God loves us
Plan is always positive
So no such thing as victim
God abandons nobody
People say I'm crazy
I don't blame you think that way
[Repeat Chorus]
[Instrumental]
[Verse 4]
Seek out how is God's love
Even in that darkest place
I don't say is easy
Just believe it must be there
Maybe wishful thinking
Still is what I choose believe
People say I'm crazy
Sometimes think I just maybe
[Repeat Chorus to Fade]

What Did We Expect?
03:33
|
|||
[Verse 1]
Privatise social care
Incentivise profit, make ...
Primary objective
Service user neglect
[Verse 2]
Run as if is business
Improve efficiency
Bank balance proves progress
Bottom line litmus test
[Chorus v1]
Shock horror when goes pear-shaped
Wonder how act so surprised
Forget predictable outcome
What did we expect?
[Verse 3]
Education monetise
Dangle carrots on strings
Motivate those donkeys
Tick performance boxes
[Chorus v2]
Shock horror when shit hits fan
Wonder how act so surprised
Forget predictable outcome
What did we expect?
[Instrumental]
[Verse 4]
Capitalise public health
Punish reward cash in hand
Money in my pocket
Everyone understands
[Chorus v3]
Shock horror when goes snafu
Wonder how act so surprised
Forget predictable outcome
What did we expect?
[Verse 5]
Production line logic
Factory philosophy
Piece work pay per unit
Never mind human being
[Spoken Word]
If pursuit of profit is the primary motivating objective of an organisation, then in the running of that organisation everything is implemented/rejected in terms of the extent to which it facilitates the making of that profit.
If we run health provision, care homes, education, in fact public services of any kind, on the basis of profit motive why are we then surprised when safety, love, compassion, and respect - the very things that make a society something to be proud of - so easily fall by the way side? Why are we surprised?

Two Twenty Two
03:27
|
|||
[Chorus]
Unite, divide, serve term, survive, take birth, breathe air, cut cord
Stand up, find love, beget, protect, cherish, nurture, support
[Verse 1]
They say I began from twenty four weeks, or time of conception
But truth I exist before the big bang
My mother select, my past life forget - tabula rasa
Now pray see day light in spite of their lies
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 2]
My body is born as garment is worn - projection, like outer dress
Identify I - my ego disguised
As clothes are replaced when tattered and torn, existence unhindered
So body discard - continue unharmed
[Repeat Chorus]
[Instrumental]
[Repeat Chorus]
[Outro dialogue]
What I mean to say is think again if you are considering the procedure. For although that choice has become increasingly normalised in societies across the planet, it stems very much from a bodily concept of life. A belief that life exists only at a certain stage of physical maturity. What if the body is simply an outer dress for a pre-existing living being? And let's not confuse this issue with the jurisdiction and judgementalism of religious groups. This has to do with something far much more universal. Are you a body with a soul or a soul with a body? And if the word 'soul' is a problem for you, who and/or what do you think you are?
Bhagavad gita Chapter 2, Verse 22 states
vāsāṃsi jīrṇāni yathā vihāya
navāni gṛhṇāti naro’parāṇi
tathā śarīrāṇi vihāya jīrṇā-
nyanyāni saṃyāti navāni dehī
As a person puts on new garments, giving up old worn-out ones, similarly, at the time of death the soul casts off its old body and enters a new one.

Land Of Dream
04:05
|
|||
[Verse 1]
Wake up in my morning, I was dreaming I was mortal
Wore a body made of flesh and bones - identified as self
[Verse 2]
Forgot I'm eternal, I was fearful, made life precious, gave me focus
Made important other relationship
[Chorus v1]
I walked a land of dream
As if reality recall
Though now see nothing what it seemed
Remember love was beautiful
[Verse 3]
Desire trepidation, anxious moments, outcome unknown
Molehill mountains, mountain molehills, and realisation relief
[Chorus v2]
I walk the land of dream
As if reality recall
Though now see nothing what it seemed
Remember love was beautiful
[Verse 4]
Role-plays relational, parent-offspring, offspring-parent
Lover-beloved, platonic friendship, adversary enemy
[Bridge]
I love them-all-facilitate the give and take, the take and give
Autonomous sacred exchange, divine expressed, divine explored
[Instrumental]
[Verse 5]
I wake up in my morning, I am dreaming we will meet again
Come together in new adventure - collaboration divine
[Chorus v3]

Sapien
03:39
|
|||
[Verse 1]
Reasonable: human evolved from ape
Scientific ... at least that's what told me in school
Taught as factual, forget theoretical
Attenborough drip feeds idea of God no need
[Chorus]
Understanding ridiculous is to my mind
Mechanistic bodily concept of life lie
Party line
[Verse 2]
Identify as bag of chemicals
Consciousness is electro neurological
Love emotion reduce to chemistry
Procreation - my genes demand of me sew seed
[Repeat Chorus]
[Instrumental]
[Verse 3]
Accidental mutation in the brain
Hocus pocus - the origin of man explain
Believable - at least some people find
Acceptable - reject intelligent design
[Repeat Chorus]
[Outro + Spoken word]
Mind you I have been cultivating prejudice against evolution theory for the past 40+ years ... so I'm hardly objective. Same time, honestly I don't find random mutation in the brain a persuasive explanation for the existence of homo sapiens. For me that's a little like explaining evolution of the motor car without reference to the desires of driver-market and the people designing cars to meet that market. As the driver is the active principle for the car, so the soul is to the body. And though I use the 'soul' word, this is not about religion, but about how you think your desires contribute to the situation you presently find yourself in ... the type of car you drive ... if you know what I mean.

Soul Gamer
01:58
|
|||
[Chorus]
Like a role-play gamer
Body controller
Seamless interfaced
In real life neglect
[Verse 1]
I'm investing time in quest for gold
My fati-gue high may China buy from
I will scratch their back if they scratch mine
And as long as serves be friend online
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 2]
I place value on everything rare
Find my happiness in acquisition
Measure life success in things possessed
In intangible importance invest
[Instrumental]
[Verse 3]
Always maintain self in character
Nature predisposed by guna-karma
I can never die, nobody kill
No matter how at time seems real
[Repeat Chorus]
